Oh, nicely done! It's in there now.

Fixed! Excellent.

While I have your attention, Jean, the notes say a Star Trek color scheme was added to the menu, but see 2nd screenshot here, I don't see it added yet.

I didn't show it but the text below the screen shot is properly in yellow on a black background. I did an upgrade this morning to the latest and it is still same as screenshot with yellow on a gray background.

Planetdance for windows / Some Text Used With Darkmode Not Showing Enough

See screencap. The yellow does not show up well on white/gray and my eyes can't hardly make it out.

Fair enough, especially if you happen to come across some spreadsheet-type table with stars and the relevant information. Then you can update several stars at once.

Planetdance for windows / Fixed Stars Text Editing
« on: November 17, 2022, 10:33:58 PM »
I found some websites that provide more meaning to certain stars in which the program does not list. So I want to edit text entry and it looks like the only way to edit the text and make it stick is to go to c:\planetdance\ab\horoscope\stars.txt  as per the help file.

Would there be any way to short cut this via editing the text box under the stars panel then saving to stars.txt file rather than manually pulling it up? I tried right clicking on the text panel and saving to file > [ab] >[horoscope] > stars.txt but then the entry is never updated. Only when I edit the actual txt file itself.

Looking fantastic! Still having fun experimenting with this.

I have downloaded version 11/13/2022 00:37 as of this writing. Been stress-testing this feature all day and so far nothing buggy at all. Works beautifully.

I also checked Options > Objects > Asteroids and there is a nice overlap.

So in case anybody was wondering some Asteroids were already in the program under that setting. If you already had the those usual asteroids and don't want the redundancy just go in Time > Extra Asteroids and then highlight the asteroid you don't want and select "Delete Asteroid" from the top (you can always download it again from that list). So now you can download custom asteroids that weren't already native to the program and they will show up when you go to
Horoscope > Extra> Asteroids

Jean, I removed my last two messages in this thread and I apologize. I do appreciate your hard work past and present.

I noticed some websites offer you the opportunity to track the asteroid Lucifer (sometimes just #1930) and was wondering if you could somehow put that into the program if it is not in there already. I would like to monitor and experiment with this asteroid in my readings.

Just one of those weird errors I guess. It works fine now. I reloaded the program and I can switch back between Roeland and default without an error.

Some days I'll just get a random error with the program and then when I restart it I can't replicate it.

See attached. I switched to "Roeland" and for some reason the program started giving me error messages.

Planetdance for windows / Re: Program Crash

So far no crashes but lately I haven't been doing anything extra with the program like opening graphs and such that used to make the program glitchy. I'll stress test the program this week and see if there's anything else that can crash the program.
