Ed is right Sindy, you should edit c:\planetdance\pd.ini

It's simple, it's just a text file, you could edit it with notepad or something. Ed says to make a copy beforehand but actually it's unlikely something goes wrong.

Seems an ugly bug there Sindy. Looks like the nakshatra symbols are not coming trough. Is this on windows? Did you have this before?
I don't know if it helps but you could try this, download latest and put this in c:\planetdance\pd.ini

Currently that value is 2, maybe setting it to 1 will fix it for you.

Colors / symbols is a bit of a mess. For a regular horoscope window there can be 3 different fontsizes in effect and each can be a different symbolfont. The column on the left and the elements table can be 16 or 24, the wheel can be 16, 24 or 32, the aspecttable in the lower left corner only 16.

Say you have large fonts set, but you want to change the 24 font for the column to some other symbolfont, you first have to change the general font size to Normal, only then you can select which symbolfont you want for normal.

Same situation when editing fonts, it's a design oversight. Maybe someday.. but there's a lot of work and code involved.

Hi Sindy,

About the status bar, it's a 'known issue'. I couldn't find the space to add both the planets and the checkboxes to the status.

Second, changing colors works for all sizes, you can't change the color for 24x24 only.
If all appear black while this has not been set, it's a bug, never seen that.

Astrobasic / Re: looking for ingress

This has changed, findaspect now has the array options expanded to 20 chars:

Syntax: int findaspect(real start, real end, char p1[16], char asp[11], char option[20], real angle, real lon, real lat, real zone);
See it's help.

The extra options are:

9 exit after first find ingress
10 search void of course.

The rest of the options array is for future use.

Astrobasic / looking for ingress

findaspect() can search for ingress.
There is now command(FUNCTION, 59, 1, 0), this sets a flag inside findevent() which lets it exit as soon as it finds the first ingress. This is handy when you just want to quickly search when a planet has the next ingress. You don't need to calculate an end time for the search, just use 250 years or something.
For an example see horoscope extra ingress.ab

Astrobasic / include "Sabian.ab"

include "Sabian.ab"

After this you can use the variable sabian[360][333] containing the sabian symbols in your code.

Planetdance for windows / Re: Tijdzone

Hoi Nelly,

January 17
- Horoscope - Fixed Stars - Draw did not correctly draw stars.

You won't believe it but i've spent all day doing fixes for bugreports. :)

Think i fixed it.

- if Options - General - View - Horizontal Asc in Whole Sign houses was unchecked the bounds from Options - Extra - Classic were not correctly aligned.

I hadn't noticed :)

Will look into it, can't say when.

If you do horoscope - print etc - portrait you can check the Anonymous box to remove the date/time.
Not that it helps a lot for an astrologer or planetdance user, for instance application - datefind finds the date for that horoscope in a fraction of a second. :)

Eelco Jellesma?

Can you make a pic that shows the error?

I uploaded a new version, the old indeed did give corruption errors. Can you try again?
