That is weird. It works here. Jean, have you any idea what could be the problem?

Arzum, this was a bug in an older version of the VSP module. Just update Planetdance, and it should work. :)

Thanks for the link,
saw the video and a lot more, read some blogs, didn't find out anything that is really new.
For interpretation, read my book ... Maybe at 50 I'm too old for that now, but I've learned again how US big business works.
Maybe she found a few interesting interpretations, but the whole thing reminds me too much of all the new astro books with lots of pages, lots of colorful pictures and 90% nothing really new.

I thought the Venus Star was new to you as you asked for detailed explanations of its points. Of course, the information about Venus' cycles and patterns isn't new. It's been there for thousands of years. But I'm surprised that you didn't find anything really new. I don't know anyone besides Arielle who has studied in-depth and written a book about historical cycles or relationship dynamics in the light of the Venus Star. But if you know people who have, maybe you could share a link to their work? I'm especially interested in this kind of insight the Venus Star provides. So any new resources are always welcome.  :)

Sindy, can you give me a good link to a page where the meaning of the points is explained in detail?
I don't want to buy the book right away.

Not a page, but a link to a presentation by Arielle Guttman herself. https://youtu.be/e7X_thynFKM

If you want to understand the meaning of the points in detail with all the information they contain, you would need to go further and study the VSP system, including the cycles of Venus, in-depth. This video, however, is a good starting point and introduction. Good luck!

Yes, I can't help it. I'm a perpetual student. Once I'm excited about something, nothing stops me. I have to investigate and study it, lol.

It didn't seem as much of a big deal in the beginning, but once I started learning it for real and began to understand the mechanics behind it, I've got so much insight through this system in combination with other techniques that I will go on studying it (I'm at the moment working on my exam to get certified).

Just for clarification, Arielle Guttman teaches that the Sun-Venus conjunction before birth is your personal VSP. The 'after birth rule' applies only for those born close (seven to ten days) to the next VSP.

Perfect, Jean! I'm very glad it is fixed. I've been spending much time studying the VSP system, and I love that Planetdance has this module. It's great as a teaching tool, too.  :)

When you compare the conjunctions listed in the aspect list to the points of the star you see that, for example, the Sun is not conjunct point e as indicated in the list.

Jean, that sweater is absolutely stunning! ✨

For the weird conjunctions (in the aspect list), see the pic below.

P.S. And congrats for losing a few kilos. That is hard work.

Thanks for the fix, Jean! Now it works. The only thing left is the weird conjunctions showing up after selecting 'After birth' in the check box.

P.S. I just saw your new pic under Help/About. Great photo! 😃👍

Hi Jean and Ed!

The error appears when choosing 'None' from the 'Housesystem' list in the bar and opening the VSP module after this. It doesn't appear when you first save the chart already with no houses and then open the Venus Star Point module. One option to make it work would be saving all charts with no houses, but I think there should be another way to fix the issue.

Hi Jean,

Thanks for the swift reply! On my PC, it's still the same after the update. The signs the VSP's fall in do not match their positions.

The 'After birth' checkbox works perfectly, but weird conjunctions are displayed in the list after the new calculation.

See pictures below.

Hi Jean, Ed, and everyone else!

I've been enjoying the Venus Star Point module very much. Is there any possibility of making it work without setting a house system? This would be great for working with untimed charts. At the moment, when choosing Housesystem / None, the star's points are displayed in the wrong signs, although they are listed with their right placements in the list at the right top corner.

The author of "Venus Star Rising: A New Cosmology for the 21st Century," Arielle Guttman, gives an exception on page 79 for finding the personal VSP. She says if one is born within a week before the inception of the new VSP (she speaks of a week to ten days in her course), the person's VSP is the one after birth and not the one before birth as the primary rule goes, although, in the book, she says that both VSP's influence the individual. Is it possible to incorporate this exception rule in the module? Maybe as an additional feature that can be chosen (or not if one doesn't want to go by the rule in Arielle's book)?

P.S. Have the features of this forum changed? I couldn't find a way to attach an example chart here anymore.
