Planetdance on Linux OS
« on: February 16, 2021, 09:01:25 AM »
Hi there - just to let everyone know that Planetdance is a seamless install on Linux OS under Wine. I have used Jean's software for many years on Linux Mint (various versions) with a number of desktops. At the moment I am using XFCE.

I also use Mint XFCE as my favorite Linux distro. Planetdance runs fine, only a few graphical glitches.
Greetings from Groningen Netherlands.

It's also working on SuSE LINUX Tumbleweed, excellent! Very easy to install under Wine

Thanks for this confirmation. It's always helpful to know what people are using. I'm on:

Distributor ID:   Linuxmint
Description:   Linux Mint 20.2
Release:   20.2
Codename:   uma

Linux 5.4.0-97-generic x86_64

It's good to hear you are enjoying Planetdance.

I am using Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS with Xfce 4.14

Linux 5.4.0-97-generic (x86_64)

WineHQ

The only problem are the symbol representations with the Enigmafont in some modules.
See graphic. I switched to small symbols and adapted them to my preferences.
