« on: July 10, 2021, 05:21:45 PM »
I've looked through all the possible progression chart options but i cant find tertiary. Is this not a part of the software?

Hi Lisha - thanks for using the Planetdance forum. Could you confirm that these are the sorts of progressions you are looking for:

https://www.astro.com/astrowiki/en/Tertiary_Progression

There are various definitions of a month, which makes coding this a bit more complex:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Month

I don't think Planetdance has this form of progression at the moment.

hi,
That's correct, there are no tertiary progressions in planetdance yet. If we could agree what a month is, it could be made.

This is another summary of the technical aspects of the technique. Richard Houck used these a lot in his astrological method.

If it's just moving the time with a key of 27.321582 days it's quite easy.

Hi - it looks like Houck advocated the tropical lunar month - definition #3 in the wikipedia list:

The tropical month is the average time for the Moon to pass twice through the same equinox point of the sky. It is 27.32158 days, very slightly shorter than the sidereal month (27.32166) days, because of precession of the equinoxes.

No problem, just a box with some choices will do. Only thing is houses, mostly the tricky part when doing progressions. Preferable is just houses derived from the progressive date/time without further tricks.
