found helio search issue

Hi Jean, well here's a new year's treat for you...

It looks like something is missing with the Sun/Earth transit events when I do a helio transit-transit search for aspects. Below is a sample. Note that the Sun positions are always 0 Ari 0 (so it's the transiting Aries point :-). And there's something I found that seems related, very rare: A chart with a stationary Sun! See attachment, I just clipped the table of planetary positions for a current helio chart. (Also, the Sun symbol would ideally be replaced with Earth for helio, like it is in the wheel.)

I didn't calculate the heliocentric sun there correctly, try an update..

Thanks, Jean. That took care of the main issue. I think the best solution might be to just turn off the Sun in helio mode.

Here's a list from the updated pd.exe. It is an improvement. Notice that the Sun's aspects with Merc and Venus say "exact" but the Sun's other aspects look like this one (Sun Sex Nep on 2/1/52), showing not exact but 8 degrees. But the bigger problem is, the Sun's exact aspect doesn't show up at all. It should show up about 8 days later.

But seriously, to reduce the amount of searching please tell exactly what aspect you are missing and a picture with the list window so i can try to duplicate.
You know yourself how tedious this is.

I'm sorry I brought this up, actually. Just turn off the Sun aspects in helio.

This is the only Sun Sex Nep event that shows up in the list (see at bottom of this post).

So, this is a "world transit" that happened on 2/1/1952 and it is not the exact aspect event. The exact aspect event doesn't show up at all. If it did show up, it would be about 2/09/1952 but I don't have the actual exact event because it's not in the list.

You can use any of the non-exact Sun aspects to see the same problem.

Kyle i have taken the easy way out and disabled the Sun in Time List when you set Heliocentric.
I apologize for all the work i made you do.

Jean, I just saw your response and got the update, but the Sun is still disabled for helio. While you're at it, how about disabling the Moon for helio mode? Thanks.
