New Version 19 of Ed Greek Horoscope

Hi there - just letting everyone know that there is a new, tabbed, version of Ed Greek Horoscope on the way. It will take a little while to complete, but work is progressing steadily. I will post some screenshots over the next couple of weeks to show everyone how it is developing.

This will be version 19 of this popular script.

A further screenshot of the new version of Ed Greek Horoscope. This tab shows two types of solar returns, the modern variation, based on the chart for the return of the Sun to the natal solar position, and the Valens variation, using the angles for the return of the Moon to the degree of the natal Moon (entry into the whole degree, not degree and minute), but adding the planetary positions for the solar return for the year.

Update - just to confirm that this version will include the option to dynamically change the reference date for calculating transits, returns, etc. This feature has not been included in Ed Greek before, but will be carried across from the medieval modules.

Hi there - work on Ed Greek tabbed version continues. Most of the major changes are complete, so I hope this will be finished in a couple of weeks. I will announce here on the forum when the release version is ready.

Thanks Jean - it's going to be an exciting release. Most of the code is rewritten and functionality is much improved. The script is also much easier to navigate due to the tabbed format. Ed

Thanks Roberto - I'm working on the final stages at the moment - the first release of Ed Greek was six years ago. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. It was one of the first scripts I did with Jean. He had to help me a lot as I was learning Astrobasic as I went along.

Hi there - the new script took a major step forward today with the re-writing of one of the forecasting techniques. The code is much improved and the output is streamlined. See screenshot.

Hi everyone - nearly there. All the forecasting techniques have been re-written and seem to be working ok. The final phase of the re-write is the traditional chart formats. There will need to be period of testing to ensure that all the functionality is working ok.

The 40th day of the Moon is wrong The moon should be at 150 degrees from the original position, not 180.
