Search engine Addition and exclusion in finding time aspects
« on: February 18, 2024, 04:32:42 PM »
Hello everyone
I would like to know already if there is the answer to my search on PD and if not to suggest to you to create or improve a module of the aspect search engine.

Horoscope - list
we have the possibility of researching transits on the natal chart very well

Horary - list (this is what interests me)
This superb module allows you to find the aspects between external planets in list form.
That's the only problem is we have ALL the aspects which appear in succession without possible exclusions

I would like to have a selection by exclusion in order to have the dates where

- all designated planets are aspected according to certains criterias  together

Exemple :

separate selections on the same table
I am looking for the aspects mars saturn (opposition square) + jupiter uranus (sextile square) the same period
OR  I am looking for the dates concerning for example these 4 planets,  the days or period where the 4 are aspected TOGETHER according to the search criteria
example October 8, 2022: Mars square neptune + Saturn square Uranus + mars trine Saturn uniquely
I do not reseach Mars ---> Uranus

therefore greater manageability of the search engine

this in my eyes is very important and sorely lacking if it does not yet exist on planet dance

Thanks in advance
Cordialement Jeremy ( Paris )

sorely lacking

Well, that is a bit exaggerated.
But no i'm not gonna implement this into the list modules.
You can do this with Time Query, just find the right query.

let's say that for horary astrology obviously I find this very important :)
ok
it really doesn't seem obvious with Time Query and this special language
I will test

What do you mean?
If you are trying to force me to implement something by being negative you are not succeeding, i find it a bit offensive

I do with what you give me don't worry, there are no misunderstandings

ok you could give me an example with mars saturn and let's say venus jupiter with the aspects conjunction opposition square trine sextile ?

Ok, one more example.

this all uses isaspectx(first planet, second planet, aspect, orb)

(isaspectx(mars, saturn, CONJUNCTION, 1) = 1 or isaspectx(mars, saturn, OPPOSITION,  1) = 1)
and
(isaspectx(jupiter, venus, CONJUNCTION, 1) = 1 or isaspectx(jupiter, venus, SEXTILE, 1) = 1 or isaspectx(jupiter, venus, SQUARE, 1) = 1  or isaspectx(jupiter, venus, TRINE, 1) = 1 or isaspectx(jupiter, venus, OPPOSITION, 1) = 1)

You have to understand boolean logic though, above is
(a OR b)
AND
(c OR d OR e OR f OR g)
