Copy PD on Laptop

Hello, what would be the simple ways to transfer PD from my desktop computer to my laptop in its current state (with all of the configurations, database, etc.)?
After installing PD on the laptop, should I put everything from the desktop into the Planetdance directory?

Yes that would work. The file pd.ini contains all the settings and if the install path is c:\planetdance all the other paths in pd.ini will be the same.
You could also do it the other way around, put everything from the desktop on the laptop, start pd on the laptop and let it update itself.
You need to install on a new machine because the installer registers the fonts pd needs, that's the only thing the installer is needed for.
