Updating Planetdance regularly

Hi  everyone - just a note to say that it is important to update your Planetdance installation regularly. Jean describes the software as a 'rolling release' which means that bugfixes and updates occur when they are made, rather than held until a fixed release date.

Updating is extremely easy.

Go to the Help menu. Choose Check for Updates. If you have an older installation, you will be advised of this, and you can proceed with updating. This is a question of following the instructions in the dialogue boxes.

Updating is extremely safe and doesn't present any risks to your installation or files.

Ideally Planetdance should be updated weekly, to get all the latest modules and bug fixes, but if this is not possible, then monthly is fine.

All updates made in the month will be posted in a thread on this board to keep everyone up to date.
