Minor Correction, Feature Request in Cosmobiology
« on: September 19, 2024, 10:06:57 PM »
Hi, I have a minor correction and a couple of feature requests for the Cosmobiology script.

In the 45-Degree Midpoint Sort menu item, two of the columns are labeled "Cardinal." I believe the second column should be labeled "Mutable." (See attached screenshot.)

Also, it would be great if clicking on a planet (or any other point) in the Cosmobiology or 90-degree dial moved the pointer to that spot. (The ability to move the pointer around with the mouse would also be nice, but that's less important for me.)

Thanks as always for a fantastic app and your consideration of change requests.

Thanks for the feedback Michael. I can't do anything for a little while but as soon as as I am back at my desk I will do these fixes and upgrades. Ed

Thanks, Ed. Much appreciated! I have a few other changes for you as well, but will wait until you have less time restraints. Hope you're doing well!

Hi there - I have adjusted the headings as below. Each midpoint will appear twice in a 90 degree wheel and these headings more accurately reflect the location of each point.

I might get round to doing a 45 degree wheel at some point but at this stage it's not a high priority.

The ability to adjust the pointer as per your request is a major piece of coding and would require a significant investment of time. I'm going to take a look at it but if I can't find a relatively easy way to do it I'm not sure that it's going to be top of the list.

Could  you let me know your other requests please and I will look at them as a whole.

Many thanks for your interest in this module.

Best wishes. Ed
