Newbie with some questions about desktop settings!

Hello, I'm a bit new to the forum and this is my first post here

I've been playing around with pd for quite some time now and I love all that it has to offer! I'm not the most tech savvy person, however. Apologies if anything I ask has already been mentioned before- I promise I did thorough investigation to find my answers before posting, but may have missed something!

I am firstly wondering if, when saving a desktop, is the background image supposed to save with the settings as well? Decorating is my favorite part about planetdance 😂 I usually try to make color-coordinated themes that go with a particular bg, but when I load a desktop it only loads the colors, and the previous image remains. Also, I noticed that when I change any minor setting, the image sometimes disappears, so I have to go back in and set it again. I believe this is an error with the most recent update, because I don't think it was doing that before.
If I may add, I like having different feels for different charts How would you feel about potentially creating a way to save specific display settings for individual charts at some point in the future?

I was also wondering if there is a way to remove the degree lines that extend to a planet in the chart? Image attached for reference. Sorry, but I find those unnecessary as it usually looks cleaner having just the positions displayed, in my opinion

Lastly, is there a way to remove the list of house cusp markers? Attached are a couple reference images. My go-to house system is WS, which of course every house is going to start with 0 degrees, so I feel like with that system in particular it just takes up space, unless it's there for some other reason I am unaware of.. 😅

Yes i like giving options. Nice to see someone using them!

So to summarize:

1 Add background picture to the desktop save / load.
2 Add option to not draw connecting lines from planets.
3 Add option to not display lengths of housecusps.

Is this what you'd want?

Adding my colors to the distribution would be an honor! I have a BUNCH of files on my computer because I started fresh a few times but I think I'm finally getting a hang of the system. As I said, I lack technical expertise lol. I've recently been sticking with a customized version of one of the Rainbow colors, so I'll send that one- but credits to the original creator of course. I love making new styles so I will definitely have more to share soon!

Dark Rainbow, Tea Rose (objects), and NakDark (which is just one color changed so it stands out in dark mode lol). I plan to make a couple more

Thanks Lyndsie - I've adopted the Dark Rainbow scheme to try - it's very dramatic on my screen! I like it. I've always used white backgrounds, but the dark background really makes the glyphs etc stand out.

I've posted some samples below for people to see.
